words can never be enough.

Hey :) This is something i wrote some time back...would like to share it with you guys:

"Many times, we base our relationship with God purely on feelings. But God wants us to move beyond that shallow level of knowing him. Hence God tests us by being pulling away momentarily so that we can strengthen our faith in him.

It will be a very difficult period when we struggle along..thinking that God has abandoned us once and for all. But if we pull through this trial, our relationship with Him will go beyond our wildest imagination.

I have learnt that we can overcome times of not feeling God's presence by:

@ being honest with what we feel towards God being distant
@ having faith in God's unchanging nature
@ remembering God's promises to us
@ recalling what God has done for us in the past

Just like an mother eagle training her baby to flap its own wings and take on the skies - God will always be there to catch us... when we fall to reach greater heights."
